That isn't the way power is applied and I already said the flash can amp his power via speed. ok.. for one last time, just so you all can see where I'm coming from:
this is what i noticed and observed from watching the FILM AND TV ONLY, as to Sidious' throwing the fight:
1. Palpatine killed 3 master Jedi in under 30 seconds, those three were very good swordsman or they wouldn't have made it through the Clone Wars, as noted on the TV show, which also counts here per the rules, Kit Fisto especially was given spotlight on that show as a great swordsman.
2. Vaapad is not admissible as a reason for Mace power up seeing as how its never mentioned in the films or tv show, this means that he was never on the Emperors level in that fight. We see at the beginning of their fight that Sidious could have killed him as easy as the others, he had him at saber tip dead o rights and let him go.
3. the scene previous was him talking in Anakins head about saving his wife, which Anakin acted on and went to the Chancellros chambers.
4. Palpatine himself was the one to break the glass window, why would he do that if it put him at a disadvantage?
5. Mace didnt disarm Sidious until a fraction of a second before Anakin arrived, making it conveniently looks as if Mace just attacked Sisious unprovoked.
6. Palpatine didn't use his lightning until Mace said he was under arrest, he was clearly pushing Mace to try and kill him to force Anakins decision
7. not to mention that the entire time he was using lightning he made it seem as if he was just defending himself, crying out to Anakin to not let mace kill him etc
8. Finally he acted like a frail old man until Anakin made his choice then sprang into action, killing mace instantly with lightning/ throwing him out the window.
as a side note lets take into account that the films and TV shows explicitly state that the Emperor can forsee the future. That is canonical fact. This is why he revealed himself to Anakin, knowing he wouldn't kill him on the spot. Also why he allowed his face to be turned into a old mans nutsac as evidence of the Jedi betrayal.
I know, I know you all will argue that I'm looking into things that aren't there, that Mace won the fight because that what was shown on screen *derp* but sometimes filmmakers, even Lucas can get subtleties right once in a while, why is it that he and all other source have left this ambiguous? Theres enough evidence on both sides of this argument to say one happened over the other. You all have your opinion and solid facts but so do I so get off your high horse and realize that it was left ambiguous for this very reason; so geeks like you and I would argue about it 10 years after the fact 😉
now this is the last I will post on this particular subject as its getting annoying going over and over the details so many times, its exhausting and frankly I have other things to do rather than beat this long dead horse.
