Basically, they had no actual passionate artistic motivation to make this movie, so they've decided to slap a 90's gimmick into it because, hey, the nostalgia gimmick worked for GOTG!

Oh shit...you're right lol. I've read some of the reviews and you hear a lot about "Good 90s musics moments" and stuff. Damn.

yea the website is pretty awesome

The only thing they got wrong about the 90s site is that the media files actually play as soon as you click on them. Pshhh that wouldn't be happening.

Just imagine if the media on there actually buffered at dial-up speed though.

From the start I was excited that this was taking place in the 90's, I liked the 90's. A nice change since most of the MCU takes place in current time.

So yeah, seems people scraping to hate for the oddest of reasons even before they've seen it. Has happened from the start with this film. Though most of the hatred seems to come from a female character being "too powerful!".

Word is that Talos is another great villain ala Vulture and Killmonger.

I guess this could be okay...oddly enough it seems the promos actually managed to avoid making this Captain Manvers despite the lame trailers. Yet this still doesn't look like any fun.

Normally I like to form my own opinions on comic book movies but for this I feel like uts best to wait for some decent reviews before chucking out money.
