Though I also thought that this movie was going out of its way just to show that Finn and Poe aren't gay for each other for some reason. Also like that they didn't turn out to be the side characters that the trailers made them out to be.
But then there was
Spoiler:
Luke dying because his existence breaks the plot if Kylo Ren is the main villain.
Meh, Rey already breaks the plot anyway. She's Kylo's equal because "DARKNESS RISES AND LIGHT TO MEET IT." That's seriously the reason.
Spoiler:I feel like they completely misunderstand what the whole balance thing was about. It's not Light and Dark being equal, it's about destroying the Dark side, because it is unnatural and corrupts everything.
Killing off Luke had to be done because Snoke died and the light was getting too strong.
Mark Hamill shits on the new Star Wars movies... lol
Haha, the more i hear him speak the more i like him. 😂

I feel bad for Mark....he gave a great performance but it was wasted on the stupid direction they took his character....I'm glad he doesn't like what they did with him....I certainly didn't...
I will admit, I did get a short laugh when he was handed Anakin's saber and he was just like "...nope" and tosses it.
But yeah, his characterization throughout the whole thing was just so bad, even worse when you're coming off of knowing his Legends self.

That joke was awful. After the dramatic ending of the last film we get... that. It felt incredibly disrespectful.
It did, hell I think the whole scene changed actually so I wasn't really trying to put the two together, it was more a standalone laugh, though it wasn't so much an actual laugh as it was like "ha...."

Man, that was just awful. "Here's your father's lightsaber I had to go through so much pain to deliver to you personally." "Lol don't need it" and he tosses it behind his back like it was some sitcom.

It sure was, I think they actually changed that whole scene from the end of the first movie, cause it didn't look anything like it did before.
