where bro

U must not be reading this debate, lal.

He even gave up and let Beni do the debating for him.

Nai, none of what you said proves the Force is omnipotent, much less that Plagueis and Sidious couldn't dominate it.

His argument has merit regardless of that:

The Force also appears to have its own will. Many powerful Force users have long hinted at this phenomenon, especially after communing with the Force or experiencing events of mystical significance. They believe not only that the Force derives its energy from life, but that it also guides the actions of living.

Some has stated that it responds most strongly to actions taken by those who consciously seek to use it, and that it aids or opposes individuals according to its own remote designs. Given these observations, those sensitive in the Force understand that it has an undeniable role in the destiny of the galaxy.

SWTOR also gives the impression in some situations that the Force is influencing the course of events. For more information in this regard, consult member DarthAnt66.

😂

Were you crushed as well by every debater you went up against and quit prematurely? Did I crush you when you failed to respond to me oh so many times?

I know you're trolling, but I am not done with Nai yet, and it only makes you look like an idiot and salty when you're dissing someone who made you concede once and for something you do on a consistent basis.

His point if view has merit, but his argument does not since whether the Force is sentient or not is beside the point and does not prove whether the Sith did bend it to their will. It's an unprecedented feat regardless.

The Force has two aspects: Living and Cosmic.

Force-users can influence only the Living aspect of the Force. They have no control over the Cosmic aspect of the Force because it transcends time and space and defines everything. Ever wonder why some Force-users were able to foresee events in the future but had no control over them and/or could not alter the future?

On the other hand:

The Living Force is generated by the energy of living beings throughout the galaxy. This is the Force at its most immediate and instinctive level. It is this aspect of the Force that allows for many of the impressive abilities that fueled the aura of legend around the Jedi and Sith, and that still excites the galaxy's imagination. The ability to trick the minds of other beings, to sense their presence, and to manipulate physical objects all come from the Living Force.

Taken from Force and Destiny: Core Rulebook

Since Force users can influence the Living aspect of the Force, they can influence its balance through their actions from time-to-time. This is the crux of Darth Plagueis's experiments and claims as well. Regardless of his efforts, he was destined to perish one way or the other and his quest for immortality was a futile exercise. Anakin Skywalker was destined to emerge and kill Palpatine later.

We get similar impression from SWTOR. The Outlander informed Valkorion that no matter what he does, his demise is inevitable. Because if the Valkorion had persisted, he could have altered the course of future events as well. But this was not to be. Valkorion's effort to cheat death time-and-again was not normal and rather damaging to the well-being of the galaxy at large. He was a major source of turmoil and bloodshed.

To put this in a better way, Force-users share a direct connection with the Living aspect of the Force (via Midichlorians), and can influence its balance through their actions from time-to-time. In-fact, every living being has a connection with the Living aspect of the Force.

Therefore, demise of Valkorion was necessary.

mmm

You seem pretty triggered, honey.

Did I hurt your feelings? 😮

Well that's simply a matter of semantics tbh, it doesn't change the nature of the act i.e. a gravitic shift to the dark side of the Force that granted them immense power, both tangibly and cosmologically, and triggered the creation of the Chosen One.

I agree though that ultimate sovereignty over the Force is impossible (at least for them) hence the Chosen One and their ultimately downfall. However I don't think the Anakin is proof of an omnipotent will, just the cosmological equivalent of an antibody.

Fair enough. I agree what they did definitely is one of the greatest feats from a force perspective (non-combat related).

As for the the omnipotent will, your statement is similar to what some evolutionist say, that 'there is a force behind everything that guides the evolution process' but don't give the force a conscious.

Personally that doesn't make sense to me. I would agree with your statement if Anakin did not fulfill the prophecy. To much occurred to say it was simply coincidence.

Enjoyed the discussion.

Trolling does not trigger me. But when I see hypocrisy, I will root it out.
