I am just amused at how swiftly Trump was proven correct. People were whining over confederate statues, Trump asks what about Washington and Jefferson? Psshhh, false equivalency, they say. Even some here mirrored that.
Within 48 hours and...people are going after Washington and Jefferson lol. Too funny, and suddenly the tone shifts from "false equivalency" to "well, if the people want that stuff gone...".
The Jefferson Memorial is not being removed, but "updated". Which I assume means putting up a plaque that says "dude owned slaves".

That is the weird thing, if any injustice is done to someone because they are white, it's like it doesn't matter, because slavery happened and Jim Crow and all that.
The problem is slavery wasn't unique to us, but I wonder, how many of the other countries that had slavery had people rise up and fight an actual war in part to end slavery?

I didn't attack you. I make a point not to do that. Once I saw what you're intent was, you know the reason I asked the question, I then preceded to disagree with your intent which is what i did. You can take it however you feel though.
