It's easier to do it indoors, for sure.
1) The amount of vandalism on museums is minor compared with outdoors
2) No political rallies are done in museums
3) Private owners of the museums will be more willing to show the value of the statues compared to the State (who barely cares for any monument)
4) Puts history in a context conceived to teach and educate

You can make a point about it being preferable to keep the monuments out and make the contextualization work in place, but I don't see that as a valid objection to "do nothing" and to not provide context/information/visibility to the monuments.

This is the type of stupidity that emerges when you look only to the negative connotations of an image, symbol, etc. The dude was attacked because of a haircut. The guy is obviously thinking of changing his image now so this doesn't happen again. It is ridiculous that this man has to change himself because there are morons who can't look beyond the negative a symbol is or has been associated with.

Wow guy is clearly unhinged and hopefully gets caught and arrested. But people who wave Nazi flags are still scum, yeah. 🙁
Absolutely, if their intent is to push racism and hatred. If they just like swastikas...then I don't care. lol I judge the individual, not the symbol they use to back their foolishness. I happen to think the swastika is a simple, yet appealing design. I can see why it has been seen in so many places in the world throughout our history.
