lol yeah, I had the same thought. I'm guessing co-starring Fury and Hawkeye if they can get Renner to agree.

Maybe we'll finally find out what happened in

Spoiler:
Budapest
😂

Whatever pacing or plot holes the movie had, you have to admit the final battle was worth the price of admission. Remember when Fellowship of the Ring was first released and we saw that epic battle against Sauron; wishing we saw the entire battle on screen; we actually got the full battle in this movie.

They drag out the ending almost as much as Return of the King.

Lol but it was nowhere near that long; that Return of the King took forever to end.

Yeah, RotK had several endings and was longer (even the theatrical version).

And watch it be the most mundane shit ever.

That shot of

Spoiler:
every MCU hero showing up to fight off Thanos made me legit well up, tbh. I'm going to end up rewatching that whole battle a dozen times, just to pick out every detail I can.

The last battle felt like a copy paste thing from IW.

The whole movie lacked action till the final hour.

Part 1 did a way better job with that As well.

There was a really good fight scene early on, remember?

Spoiler:
Cap v Cap?

For anyone interested, Elizabeth Olsen spoke about her MCU series that she's doing for Disney's new streaming service. It's called

Spoiler:
WandaVision
, will take place at least partially in the 1950s, and both her and
Spoiler:
Paul Bettany will be in it.

I am amazed how long the Superhero movie craze has lasted, but then westerns lasted almost 40 years in high popularity.

I still think we need the edgier plots, I would love Snyder to do Miracleman as he did Watchmen for instance.

Westerns lasted because they weee an actual way of life in the past. And people like my dad who were good ol country folk ate em up. Some were really damn good though.

I think some of you simply had to high of expectations like I will with Godzilla and are gonna nitpick it apart. I also wont be able to see the movie till the first so I could be wrong.

^ Is that true though? Spagnetti westerns emerged in the 60s and AFAIK the 60s movie going public weren't comprised mainly of cowboys.

I might have worded it wrong. One is based on an actual way of life that people lived as opposed to the other one being based off complete fiction.

It was mediocre. I enjoyed the beginning when

Spoiler:
the characters were struggling with their failure. But as soon as they go back in time it becomes little more then fan service. And that final battle was boring as all shit. I just didn't care; it's been done before. The battle during Infinity War was far better.

Also both Cap America and Thor were ruined. I'm fine with Thor becoming a fat shut-in, it made sense within the film. However, his films were all about the character accepting the responsibility of becoming king and that was all thrown out at the end. As for Steve, horrible. You're telling me he not only ditched his teammates and responsibilities but did nothing to stop the terrible events that happened in these film (including leaving his best friend brainwashed who then kills the Starks)? **** that. They butchered him.

Just saw it.

It was great.

Gonna watch it again soon.

The sheer size of the movie... I don't know how the russo's can manage such a thing.. But they do.

Early on?

It happened around 90 minutes into the movie and it was barely a minute long...😛

It was kinda cool...

Was pretty great ending to the Infinity Saga (Phase 1-3) and

Spoiler:
send off to some of the characters.

As an MCU movie its great

Spoiler:
as a comic accurate movie that stays true to the infinity gauntlet story (which is one of my favs) , not so much, but thats understandable.

These 2 posts pretty much echo the way i felt about this film...

Again, I can't say I completely agree. Bar the plot, anyway. That... They took some wild swings with their interpretation of how
Spoiler:
time-travel
works.

That what took me out of the movie the most.

Spoiler:
Nebula killing her past self makes no sense, for example, but the big one is Thanos coming to the future. That creates a massive paradox that the movie just pretends isn't there. It would work if it was an alternative timeline but Steve showing up at the end automatically discounts that theory.

They just didn't think this through. For some reason they tossed out the comics and came up with some bs plot that makes no sense.

Tonight, I'm gonna watch this...

I have really mixed feeling about this movie. The parts I liked, i really REALLY liked, but the parts i didn't i absolutely hated.

6/10?

They did thor so dirty

Hey... I liked that whole sequence, tbh (the whole

Spoiler:
New York during Avengers 1
part). I thought it was done really well.

As much as I might not like aspects of it, they did, iirc, explain that

Spoiler:
every time you changed something, a divergent timeline was created, so I'm not sure it counts as a plot hole as we were shown multiple strands interconnecting with each other. Plus, it IS time-travel. Technically there's no right way to do it.

Spoiler:
It directly contradicts itself by having Old Man Rogers show up in the main timeline. If they were divergent he should have been in some other timeline.

Also, why did they need to put the stone back in the past if it didn't affect them?
