Lots of whining about the

Spoiler:
time travel

It's almost like the

Spoiler:
conversations between banner/Hulk and the Ancient One and Banner/Hulk and the rest of the team about time travel and why all the traditional movie interpretations of time travel are irrelevant. They don't actually have to return the stones because the changes they've made at each of the points where they retrieved the stones have already created different bubbles for each stone recovered. Their time travel mechanics are less about getting back to the same "time" in the present as that time will now exist differently for each of them since their retrieving the stones each created a different reality. It's more about making sure they all get back to the same bubble. The only reason they return the stones is out of respect for the fact that it is the best chance for the bubbles in which they retrieved them. Explained by the Ancient One and presumably in reference to the fact that if the stone isn't returned then Strange would be unable to beat Dormammu. Rodgers decision to stay in the past doesn't alter the future because, as Banner states, “If you travel to the past, that past becomes your future and your former present becomes the past which can’t now be changed by your new future".

So it makes no sense because it's not supposed to make sense?

Oh, it was just bad writing. Gotcha.

Granted it wasn't explained very well. They could've wasted less time on Lang wandering around trying to figure out what's happened (although I still want to know who the kid on the bike is) and more time explaining the confusing mechanics.

Lets all be honest the 11 year build up for this movie just makes the whole thing worse...

I've got other questions as well when I think about it more

Spoiler:
why did only 5 hours pass for Lang in the quantum realm when 5 years passed in the real world but when Hank Pym's wife was in the quantum realm the same time passed for her as it did in the real world?

So in addition to the rest of the points brought up about the movie

Spoiler:
If they actually needed to return the stones to their timelines wouldn't that mean Thor just doomed his past self by taking Mjolnir? Also Thanos himself was inconsistent in how powerful he's supposed to be. One moment he can slap around Thor and Cap wielding Stormbreaker and Mjolnir...the next he get's Superman stonewalled by Captain Marvel and needs the Power Stone to do anything. Speaking of which, doesn't past Thanos dying in the future kind of make the Avengers' initial concerns about time travel moot? Also maybe its just me but Professor Hulk was lame...even for the approach that they took for the character I fell it could have been better than what we ultimately got.

Hawkeye was neat in the movie at least. While not a big concern I would have preferred it had Nebula been the one to use the snap-back in homage to Infinity Gauntlet.

Just saw it.

It was great.

Gonna watch it again soon.

The sheer size of the movie... I don't know how the russo's can manage such a thing.. But they do.

Lord Rage will gut you where you stand for daring to have a different opinion than him.

Say "goodbye" to thorbags club.

Lol...

It was tremendous.
😊

Spoiler:
slow build, but seeing Lord Rogers with the "Avengers Assemble" towards the end gave me chills.

As for Thor, I thought he was too over the top and op in IF... Same goes for IM. They had to showcase the others this time around. Although they did still have major screen time here.
I kinda liked how they showed each of the original Avngers coping with the post snap. Thor literally turned into his "OKT" version like in comics (😂)..

And the whole "women charge" wasn't as bad as some are saying.

One thing i didn't like was Hulk's lack of screen time during the main action sequences. He had little in IF and not much more here. I was expecting at least a cool showing of him going WWH on pruneface at some point. 🙁

Spoiler:
IF? IF???

Infinity Fap? Did I miss a porn version of IW??

Yes!

Spoiler:
We all hoped for him to say "Avengers Assemble" and it finally happened... and in such style, to boot.

It was lame. It should have been so damn simple but having him

Spoiler:
whisper "assemble" ruined it.

Because the plot said so.

The only way to enjoy this movie is if you turn your brain off.

I'm just hoping Captain Marvel wasn't a mary sue in this.

Up for interpretation, really she could have been sue-ier

Everyone is doing a good job with spoiler tags.

How does it not make sense? Whether you like how they explained

Spoiler:
time travel
, the writing and how they explain it is for the most part consistent, and sticks within its own logic.

It's because

Spoiler:
time works differently in the quantum realm. It's not "time moves slower or faster", it's that it has less meaning. Lang came out from it using a certain exit. Janet didn't.

That, and two more points: One, Pym Particles do what they ****ing want, and secondly, having ancient Michael Douglas hitting on young Michelle Pfeiffer would be ****ing weird... In a movie at least.

Spoiler:
Nope. If it was consistent, then when Steve went back in time at the end of the fim, he should have created and lived in an alternate timeline. But he shows up afterwards aged showing the audience that he lived in the main timeline. It's completely inconsistent.

Spoiler:
The timelines aren't separate, though. They're all blended together in some weird, temporal sauce.
