KMC Comic Book Tiers (v2.0)

I'm open to creating a new Skyfather tier, tbh... Because frankly, I think a few of our "Trans-level" characters could bump up to the Skyfather tier as it is. /shrug

What would be the range of power to qualify in that tier? > Thanos, and < Galactus?

not sure what kind of measuring stick thanos would be, tbh. his power levels seem to change all the time. i guess anyone we think would beat prime for a majority up to anyone who you think might take classic odin for a majority...? 😕

Galactus>Skyfather tier>Thanos sound good to me

Personally I'd say anyone> King Thor would def be Skyfather
cause some people on the trans list > Thanos imo, but yeah like you say some on that list don't belong the trans tier in general

Before I create the tier, we need to decide what the range should be. I mean, who would we consider to be *the* top of the Trans-tier right now(excluding the guys who will obviously be getting bumped up)..? Because that would be our low-end cap.

I think '<' average Galactus is a good upper-end cap, because he seems to be sort of the dividing line between Skyfathers and Abstracts, imo. Odin, for example, can definitely contend with average Galactus, but he cannot beat him for a majority.

What do you guys think?

I say King Thor or Sbp is the lower end cap, there's argument to be made that they don't need to get bumped up

for example King Thor and Sbp are trans
so RKT and Guardian amped Prime can be skyfather

Galactus is def the upper end cap

In the long run it might be best to go with KT here. As in: anyone '>' KT, and '<' average Galactus is in the Skyfather tier.

Based on Nabu's fight with DoV Spectre, and Mordru toying with Shazam from within the RoE, beating Thunderbolt from within his 'lamp', etc...and the fact that they are almost always treated as equals...I'd probably be inclined to agree.

SBP-->remain trans (i'm not sure he is for sure beyond some of what current superman has done so don't see how he can possibly be moved....)
Kal Kent-->hm, i can see moving him up
Jenny Quantum-->ltd knowledge. why should she move all of a sudden?

Waverider and Infinity Man were on the original list. But the consensus when I first reopened the thread was to remove them from the list entirely as they were beyond Trans.

That said, I suppose I could follow the logic for putting base IM at the very high-end of the Trans tier, but WR is definitely Skyfather, imo.

Mordru for subskyfather at least.

Prime would be trans, imo. Infinity Man too, probably.

I don't know enough about the rest.

Mordru is definitely a skyfather, his feats are just insane.

Mordru and Nabu def has skyfather+level feats, hell an argument can be made they are above not below skyfather level

Sbp should be skyfather if King Thor is, magic immunity alone means he can take on some skyfather level and win.

Jenny Quantum is being criminally underrated if she's only trans here, she was on the level of kid franklin.

she has created a sentient universe, absorbed a baby universe and teleport it
and her exact twin Jenny Fractual that was stated to be her exact power level many times. was merging multiverse into one, ripping/fracturing the multiverse, time and reality are malleable under her power

even as a kid Jenny has constructed a reality retroactively existed at the beginning of time and lasted for more than a week
during the fight with the doctor (another reality warper for some reason on the trans list that doesn't belong there), she made dozens of her alternative realities self to fight with her

Regarding gog are we talking about Kingdom Gog or Third world Gog? Kingdom Gog certainly is more powerful, but both should be skyfather imo

Mordru has destroyed galaxies in the past, granted it was silver age. But he has post crisis showings that matched this, his power level more or less stay the same

As for sbp I assume we are using all his feats EXCEPT guardian amped superman prime in countdown right? As far as speed/strength/durability concerned sbp is def skyfather, I do think alot of skyfathers can beat him due to versatility, but some others will lose as well due to his magic resistance. He is low-mid end of Skyfather tier imo

I agree the best feats of Superman can match Prime no doubt. But Sbp only has 1/100 of the appearances superman has.
If we compare averages/above averages, sbp is simply better by a wide margin. Other than with teen titans and the flashes Prime has no other low feats as well
SBP has taken on group of heroes including superman in sinestro corps war
Has 2 shot (heat vision + freeze breath) superman in legion of three worlds
One shot Kal-L (equal to post crisis superman) with heat vision in IC
Granted current superman is more powerful than his post crisis self, but not by that much

Sbp is basically the teenager version of Pre-crisis superman. current superman is more powerful than ever since COIE, but still not on the level of Pre-crisis stuffs back in the day...at least not yet
