2004 was an election year based largely on 9/11 fears and the Right was able to convince just enough people that changing leadership in the middle of a war would be dangerous and that John Kerry was coward who would kowtow to the "Islamic Jihad" which would lead to endless 9/11-like attacks.

What's funny is if Trump had done anything other than an absolutely horrible job at containing Covid, he would have won re-election for similar reasons. Covid was an absolute gift to an historically unpopular president. He just had to be competent, and he couldn't even do that.

Biden ran a similar campaign to Hillary but didn't have the baggage

Rejoined the Paris Climate Accord. Pair this with the keystone pipeline being blocked, and Biden is piece by piece erasing the terrible legacy Trump had for the environment.

I hope Biden is coherent with Brexit and doesn't fall for msm bs that could demonize policies the UK tries to implement. Specifically regarding our control of our waters.

To he fair Biden and the Democrats have put forth legislation to up the minimum wage.

As is a surprise to no one the GOP don't want it.

There shouldn't be a minimum wage in the first place, but that's a discussion for another thread.

When it comes to foreign wars Bidens not going to do much different to Trump. Which is why I was never really rooting for Biden in the first place.
