Fun fact

Even N52 Superman's powers/a weakened Superman's powers are stated to be equal to Darkseid, who during that time was portrayed really powerful(destroying universes, powers were equal to CPB, stalemating AM etcetc)
https://ibb.co/FV2X8rG

😉

The difference between the showings was who needed the plot device.

dude was using Antilife to weaken Superman ahead of their fight and still couldn’t get a dub. lol.

Meanwhile Wonder Woman realized she couldn’t actual beat him and had to use a plot device of ‘love’ causing her father and other gods essence to erupt out of him and ‘defeating’ him, lol.

Wonder Woman can’t beat Darkseid >>>plot device >>>’win’
Darkseid can’t beat Supes >>>uses plot device >>> still can’t win.

😆

Superman fans are the worst. Diana and Darkseid fight, Darkseid is losing. Superman fans "He's only losing because he's holding back". Me "he has killed everyone he's faced in the same story and is turning other Amazon's into parademons - why is he holding back". Superman fans "he's holding back because he's talking crap". Me "he talks crap in all of his fights, even in the fight where Superman calls him the strongest". Superman fans "that doesn't count".

Wonder Woman then proceeds at breaking his finger with ease, one hand catch his punch, block his omegas like its nothing and then defeating him after saying she doesn't think she could beat him (not a factual statement by the way). Superman fans "Darkseid wanted to be defeated and become powerless for the plot of the story". If Superman would've done any of this, no argument would've been had because you all are the most sensitive, making excuse members on KMC.

Well that was a nonsensical waste of time to read.

Mxy's Infinite Planet couldn't be more dissimilar from Marvel's Crossroads, lol. If I were a betting man, I'd say that your only agenda here is trying to 'prove' that Hulk can duplicate Superman's feat... Which would be unbelievably stupid of you.

I recommend you just stop now. This will only end with you looking even worse than you already tend to. 👆

2. When he is next standing, the spear has been removed.

There is no panel depicting Hulk lifting the spear. You are inferring that it happened, but it is at least equally possible that Proxima first removed the spear, allowing Hulk to get up.

You don't know the order of events, and the fact that you keep ignoring that hole in your argument just underlines your bias.

Word of advice when dealing with Carver - he honestly thinks people are out to get him, and he stubbornly digs in. You need to lead him slowly, step by step. He thinks a certain way, then will quickly speed read your post and latch onto random words then argue against them.

Carver, post the EXACT panel (crop it if needed) which shows Hulk FIRST standing up, THEN PM removing the spear. That's what Smurph and other have been arguing this entire past decade or so.

Reread that part of our posts. Stop and think. Read again. Then post. Prove this sequence of events:

1ST: HULK STANDS UP
2ND: PM REMOVES SPEAR.

If you can't, then it's equally likely the order is reversed, i.e. she removed the spear first, then he stood up.

That is I just used searching function in ten minutes.........Carver, do you honestly think you are on the position to criticize other fans on the forums, given your reputation on KMC?

Did you really quote post people on from KMC. I applaud you for taking the time to do that but do you honestly think I care what anyone on here thinks about me. Hopefully you don't either.

OK, you insist Darkseid isn't Skyfather. Who do you think I'd the weakest Skyfather?

That's because your brain is so small and under developed you can't actually feel pain, even when you got whacked in the balls with a red hot fire poker.

Is this a joke thread? Or, is this the Shortbus section of this site now? Is the term "Short Bus" still allowed here? It's been a while and many of us have experienced Social Mutation, so forgive my faux pas, if any occur.
Moving on... of course Thor does not need air to breathe.
Let's say I get a job at DC tomorrow. Yeah, lets say that DC doesnt care if I can really write, or know anything about comic books. Lets say I went in there with a beard, stuffed my 240 lb of muscle (you betcha!), testosterone and general unpleasantness into a dress and wore an "I hate Trump" hat, securing my new writing position. Now, lets say that my first assignment was writing some Superman books. If I write those books and include several scenes in which Superman was rendered unconscious by drowning, choking, strangulation, etc, does that mean you would all conclude that Superman needed air to breathe? Would you simply decide that all the previous history of Superman in space, underwater, in bizarre dimensions, functioning normally, are now defunct?
Of course you wouldnt. Because only an imbecile would think that. Only some sort of brain damaged, doltish doofus would believe that a small group of examples, written by unqualified, biased, uncaring clowns, would negate literally hundreds or thousands of showings that depict the opposite.
And I know there are no members of this forum who are THAT ignorant, confused, clueless or stupid. I KNOW you are a bunch of Smarties!! Am I right?
So, dont worry. All the THOUSANDS of showings, where Thor is in space, underwater, on alien worlds or in strange extradimensional locations with no possibility of air being present, are ALL still canon.
Hi.

Since this thread was bumped again
Just some stray thought, but i think it may be fun to see if Superboy's no need air/oxygen/doesn't need to breathe or such can be a reverse one-to-one to Thor's "need to breathe" showings

Hercules doesn't need to breathe and Hercules is equal to Thor without the extra powers, so why would Thor need to breathe? At best, it's inconsistent, but Thor has been in space without a helmet plenty of times. The same is true for Superman.

Hercules needs to breathe in modern comics too.

Then it's an inconsistency, because when these characters were created they explicitly didn't need to breathe as I show here. Thor has the same physical stats as Hercules. I see no reason to say that he can't do what Hercules can do. Especially since we've seen him travel space many times without a helmet.

Characters talk in space all the time. Thor and Hercules need to breathe since at least silver age.

I literally posted a Silver Age comic where Hercules says, "Hercules need not breathe." Literally. The exact words. Why would this not apply to Thor as well? If you want to say that it's inconsistent... fine. But there's at least a strong argument that they don't need to do it. Very arguably one stronger than the argument that they need to breathe.
