Probably. However in most cases a little common sense is needed by fellow members to dismiss my more outrageous comments.
Count Dooku is both a talented duelist and a talented Force user, with immense capabilities on both ends. He was highly intelligent, wealthy, and resourceful. But he wasn't the most powerful person of his day, nor was he one of the most powerful ever.
I agree with everything you said there.
He is inferior to his two masters, Yoda and Sidious (and Anakin), and is on equal footing with Mace. Other than that, he's superior to all others in the PT.
I agree with that as well except I would put Dooku above Anakin.
But you blow his abilities entirely out of proportion. Count Dooku would be annihilated (not just "defeated"😉 by the likes of NJO Luke, Exar Kun, or DE Sidious. He would be crushed.
I agree. I dont think that I have ever said that he would beat them. If I have it must have been blatantly obvious I was kidding.

Hahahaha. Im not changing my fanboyism anytime soon. I will go as far as to apologise to DE Luke for my comments about NJO Luke in that thread. Hopefully I will be forgiven. However in this thread Dooku would win, and that is not my fanboy side talking. I have posted sufficient evidence that Dooku would win.

Dooku wouldn't own Luke with the knowledge we've had. If he's able to defeat a person who is 80% of RotJ Sidious, then he could hold his own against Dooku and possibly defeat him.
The problem is there was an emotional factor between Vader and Luke that wouldnt be there with Dooku. Luke was pissed of at his Dad which caused a great deal of the darkside to flow through him. Vader was turmoiled about killing his son. So it was tipped in Lukes favor. Luke MIGHT be able to hold his own against Dooku but certainly not beat him.
You're only judging the poor choreography of the 80s and lack of special effects.
Luke fought like sh*t in ROTJ. We cant blame bad choreography. Or we could all say 'If the chorography was better then Luke wouldnt have got his arm chopped off'etc. We can only assume that the fight scenes in the movies were what GL wanted. If we then compare them to the PT duels Luke doesnt stand a chance.
Imagine all the credit Dooku would have recieved if it was him chopping off Mace' arm like Anakin did. Then all the fanboys would be like "OMG!! Dooku had amazing reaction skills and has the best force powars of all time!!"
But now although he didn't ever actually prove anything he is still placed as third best duelist. What a joke.

It was just a bad excuse so that he could sell his sub-par plotlines with lots of flips and explosions.

He also said that Old Ben and Vader have become a lot stronger since Revenge of the Sith. He also said that Luke became one of the greatest Jedi ever by the end of Return of the Jedi.

Luke was basically the only Jedi besides Yoda and uknowns.
IMO ROTJ Luke can defeat Count Dooku, Anakin and Obi-Wan. He might be less experienced than them, but what he accomplished in a couple of years is impressive. And to top it all he has the heart, determination and a good sense of what's right and wrong. I mean in just a couple of years and being a lot older than his father Luke still managed to resist the temptation of the Dark Side and managed to make Anakin return from the shadow of Darth Vader. Something that until that very moment was thought to be impossible. Hell even an extreme rookie version of himself managed to hold his ground against Darth Vader.
Yes Luke has gained experience very fast, and he has a natural talent. Nutthis does not put him on thelevel of an 80 year old master who has experience in both sides of the force and is a master of the lightsaber style. Luke just does not have the needed experience to win. Dooku has gone toe to toe with Yoda and managed to escape, has wtf pwned Kenobi twice and has wtf pwned Anakin once. This is not including the battles he has been in in EU eg Mace Windu.
I do give Luke credit for turning Vader back, but I dont see how this is going to helphim in a fight with Dooku. Lukes force abilities are nowhere near the Counts (not in ROTJ anyway) so this puts him at a large disadvantage. Also Luke has never fought a Makashi practicioner, he doesnt have a clue how to attack Dooku or find his weak points. Yoda and Ben wouldnt have tought him how to fight a Makashi user because there were none around in ROTJ.
