Looks like we're making a decent turn-around here...
And you win initiative again. Geez.
"If we leave, they'll be trapped inside!" says Marduk.
General updating below. Generally reasonable; Mors' rolls were rubbish, Heph gets in a good hit, and Ares fires very well (though he was already next to you).
Melis goes all out. She rolls five succeses on her big kick for ten damage, throwing the vamp across the alleyway, and then taking off after it with a twenty-four dice Swooping Eagle! Shame Tiger isn't on to up that a bit, but then you can only have so much loaded (Naturals, take note).
We have twelve successes and a bonus here; I think Hands of Light bonus fits well, to make that another fifteen damage (which was incidentally Unstoppable).
Well, twenty five damage in one round... can't complain! Of course, Melis cannot recover powers fast enough to do that again in the fight, reasonably (again, Naturals, take note).
Sirin takes two goes to kill a Mook.
Helios goes swordy and kills one.
San rolls three, six and six (no bonus this time) for 18 damage! Far too much for her target to handle; he goes down.
Firewall opens up on a vamp, but he is hampered by its cover.
Azrael runs across the room heading for the key. He and The Hunter cross paths directly!
Barb has turned on Cloud's opponent. He rolls three, three and five (bonus) for fourteen damage! Ooh.
Cloud- yes, knives are vicious indeed, in this circumstance king weapon. rememberm thoigh- a. they need a high pool to use, b. that depends on your foes having little or no defence (as is so here) and c. armour is effective against them.
If you have a defence working (Clever Fox, say), that translates to nine fewer dice being rolled by someone tapping IB that turn compared to someone without defence. So you can see the important difference there, certainly building as turns go by. Five turns into a fight? Forty-five dice difference. And of course, the more dice they roll, the more bonuses they get to keep doing it forever.
Moral? Defence is important!
Hawk totals four sucesses for nine damage on his foe.
As for the bad guys...
On seeing he has run into Azrael, the Hunter drops his gun to the ground with a clatter. Reaching to his backpack, he produces two short, thick machete blades, and twirls them a few times.
Heph's attacker bottoms out on his attack due to the WW tap!
"A threat? Ooh, I'm scared! You have no idea how much I don't care about what Zion thinks."
22 firers, seven targets... three each, and an extra on Sirin as she is in cover. See? She's fine.
At this point, the windows all around the walls of the room explode inwards as the SWAT guys start to clamber in!
Enemy fire just outside the Museum is very intense this time.
Solid blow hits you, Cloud.
I'll blow Burn's turn buit at the same time give no attack from that Vamp as he gets up.

Hey Philos, target the SWAT, their guns do more damage and they might have higher pool...and Ush, are they like the city's SWAT? Not some psycho Vampire backup?
And Ush, I'd like to make a guess that the Italian Leaders are Werewolves? It's the sideburns that tipped me off. ermm
Anyways.
Heph will untap VG.
"You will in a bit..." Heph says, as he lashes out with a vicious spinning kick (tapping VG), meaning to send Wolfman over the railing and off the balcony into the fight below to give him some time.
