It's so hard to get all the facts on the tables and properly define their powers, because different writers have different opinions about their powers. This is why it's hell to decided so many comic book characters abilities and powers.
Thus I've come to the conclusion: With a certain writer, Storm could probably take on Magneto and be victorious. However, in most comics Magneto would win.
There is a reason we've never seen Storm take him out on her own.

We dont know if they are going to fight for sure, and even if they do it wont be a real fight because a real fight between them would last a picosecond, unless surfer wanted to play with her.

Nope that's Magneto once he regained his powers after losing it in the Twelve arc. He rejuvenated his damaged dna and that was his set power level after that.
Unless you're talking about the Satellites which have nothing to do with his beyond Global range.
