Solits for Final Crisis #4

WARNING MAJOR SPOILERS FOR SOLITS!!!!

Spoiler:
It's one month after the Anti-Life Equation was released worldwide. Millions now toil as slaves of Darkseid, while the Justifier shock troops of Apokolips lay waste to the planet Earth and hunt down its protectors.

The remaining free humans and superheroes are stationed around the world, besieged within the walls of ten very familiar 'Watchtowers', as they fight a desperate, losing battle against the triumphant forces of evil.

While Green Arrow and Black Canary attempt to deliver the secret of humanity's last hope across America's blasted wastelands, the Outsiders brave the horrors of the Bludhaven bunker in search of Batman. The ultimate battle is coming…but which heroes will become villain – and vice versa? And what part do the Secret Society have to play in the dawning of this new Age of Evil?

Darkness is falling and death rules the day. Is this truly the end of the Age of Super Heroes? Don't miss FINAL CRISIS #4: "How to Murder the Earth!"

He looks obese 🙁

The lower torso seems a bit wierd but despite that, I find his look perfect.

There's nothing wrong with it and it's a very good issue which sets everything up extremely well. However it didn't have that epic feel to it that comics with the word "Crisis" in should. I'm sure the storyline will be on the whole just as good as the previous "Crisis" or maybe even better than the storylines but I don't feel the same awesome sense of grandeur that I felt wiht the others. I don't feel as though worlds will live or die just yet. Hopefully upcoming issues will prove me wrong but it's certainly not the same multiverse shattering pace as COIE #1 or IC #1.

On the contrary, I feel that it has an epic feel to it that I've rarely seen in comics. Then again, this is subjective.

Fair enough 🙂

This one is building different, last time we had the mini's that came before the Crisis, and already had the stage set, this time, Crisis is front and center.

✅ It's certainly different ✅

The only thing missing in this crisis is the Anti-Monitor.

mmm

So far we have...

Supergirl
Barry Allen
Death of major DCU character

Showed up in an issue of Supergirl a while back.

Well at least this means FC is more likely to come out on time and the art will still be gorgeous....

Yeah his art is maybe a slight notch down from JG but the styles are so similar anyway.

I knew JG wouldn't be able to keep up. He had almost a year to work on Final Crisis and finished 2 issues by himself in that time.

i like pacheco's art as it is atm, he's really come along in recent years... as long as he doesn't draw superman with a monkey face, we'll be alright imo...

sorry if this was posted already (and the double posting thing), but...

Morrison had FC written BEFORE countdown and DOTNG? bloody hell...

and chuck dixon... damn...

I'm practically gonna guarantee we don't see AM in this Crisis. Johns took him out of the game. He's reserved for Blackest Night.

Paul: So the reason Countdown and DOTNG sucked and don't connect, is cause they aren't following Morrison's script? HA! 😂

And canning Chuck was BS. 👇

Once I heard Darkseid's rebirth sent him back in time to around Infinite Crisis and was involded in 52 I had to dig em out and read em again.

Issue 25, the Intergang boss states, "A dark angel made of living granite placed its stinking, smoking hand against his chest and held it there as it whispered to him the sickening secrets of the Dark Side. Held it there until the heart within was blackened and shriveled beyond repair. That day Bruno became an apostle of evil, an evangelist of crime."

Issue 46, Doctor Cale of mad scientist island..."It's not about the global crime state. Beyond Mannheim, beyond Chung Tzu, there are others. And they already walk among us." "...The forces of evil are gathering, don't you understand? The Final Crisis is coming. Servants of death and despair. Apostles of Anti-Life. Their goal is eternal slavery and destruction of the human free will."

Juicy.

Great catches man.

I love the way that the battle in Heaven sent Darkseid tumbling backwards through time. Makes 52 and Seven Soldiers fit in so well.

So issue #2 was pretty much CSI: Metropolis. ermm

i liked the issue... poor

Spoiler:
hal... and dang, granny...

also, if lois is hurt, expect superman to be PISSED.

Damn, this issue was awsome !
