He is always like that....don't be surprise. mmm

My expectations must be too high because these crossovers aren't doing it for me. I thought the issue was ok ,no bad, but nothing that makes me impatient for the next issue. The corps war was the last series that had me waiting anxiously for each issue.

The story definitely picked up some steam.

pretty good issue, granny suprised me lol poor batman

Hrn.

i must admit ish 2 kinda scared the shit outta me

These New Gods seem to be much darker, far more powerful, and quite scary. Firing Bullets thru Time? Granny is able to psychichly control Green Lanterns and Alpha Lanters and just depower rings with a thought. The heroes have no way of winning. If Granny can punk the lanters with ease, then the rest of the New Gods are gonna be downright scary.

I have to say Final Crisis #2 is one of the best issues I've read in a long time.

And yes this Crisis Morrison rights is far darker than anything before...

Was it Granny or Glorious Godfrey that did the mind-control? I'm pretty sure it's Godfrey as that's what his power is

Kraken, the Alpha, mentioned Granny specifically and spouted dialogue similar to her.

I am in awe at Morrison.

Huey: I've said it before, I'll say it again. Read Seven Soldiers. Morrison has a unique way of building a story.

Still not sure as in the next scene Godfrey was with the Lantern calling him "great one", and even the dectective when he was by Godfrey mentioned someone was in his head.

Alpha Lantern said he would bring Batman as a plaything for granny, but other New Gods have said that when they were rounding up other metas so that doesn't mean much. Only real part that brings into question is when she said, "she's eating my mind alive"

The Supergirl cover for issue 3 makes me more interested in the character than I've ever been.

Look at the scene where Turpin beats Mad Hatter. Specifically look where Turpin looks at himself in the mirror. Combine that with a few more similar images and Godfrey telling him Kalibak is his son then its say to assume Turpin is the new human host of Darkseid.

Edit.

I thought that as well, as apparently Darkseid is in everyone or whatever they said in FC #1
