- Are you talking about goku's flight speed? Becaus esupes prolly beats him in taht. Can't IT compensate for his lack in speed? use it to be where superman doesn't expect him to be and hit him with a blast. - I agree that Goku has lots of help from people that just seems to be the writing style. I think if Goku stood alone he would have the ability to fight off supes.

I think everyone might like to read what im about to write. I reading into Mr. Akira Y and his views on DBZGT. Interesting fact I learned / slash startling revelation. I always believed that it was a legitimate successor to DBZ and your words were rubbish.

A DBZ level Goku may not have the ability to defeat Superman. I'm not waving the white flag but I think this is a most reasonable conclusion. This will be the first and last thread that I would ever post so much in one sitting lol.

Ki is life force...But Superman doesn't use it. He'd have no more than say Mr. Satan if that. Batman would probably be easier for Gokou to detect with his ki sensing abilities than Superman. Superman gets his powers from the sun like a solar battery.

He came back on it because the Dragon only gave one wish during that time because Kami was weak. They used the wish to bring him to life so he had to get back to Earth himself.

The only person Gokou beat was really Freeza. How does that count as Gokou being any good? He's not the strongest in the series, and he's by far not the smartest. Radditz was beaten because of Gohan getting angry, and Piccolo. Vegeta was beaten thanks to Yajirobe, and Gokou lost that battle. Cell had to be beaten by Gohan because Gokou knew he was so much more powerful than him. Kid Buu would have killed Gokou had Vegeta, Mr. Satan, and Fat Buu not been around to protect him, give him the Spirit Bomb idea, and get energy from the Earth.

thats one ting thats confused me, does being more stronger physically give them more life force, I remember reading somewhere that hercule has a higher power level than a farmer with a gun even though neither of them use ki

It's because they train. Mr. Satan is actually a good martial artist..by normal human standards even if Videl is stronger. The farmer was just that. A farmer. That's why Satan has a larger power level than the farmer and Videl has a stronger power level than Satan.

But according to feats Super Saiyan Goku is faster and more durable than movie Superman.

Movie Superman can survive in space, Goku can't. Supes flies up into the atmosphere and rain down heat vision while Goku is helpless

His heat vision barely heated a planet, it might be hotter than the sun per size weight ratio, but it still doesn't beat Freeza's death beam. A ball of Chi doesn't melt, because it's made of energy. Duh da duh! Freeza's death beam's potency was that of kinetic force, not just heat, so Superman's heat vision might be hotter, but it wouldn't be any more effective on Goku's skin. Movie Superman's heat vision is even weaker.
