The anime is canon to the anime, it's an adaption of the manga, its not the manga, if it doesn't contradict something already established in the anime you can't just throw out parts as not "canon" like it never happened.
But if it contradicts something that happened in the manga, you sure as hell can. 🙂.

I advise you if you do not care who wins to cease and desist posting in this thread as you have already been reported once for trolling and further posts that attempt to derail the conversation will be likewise reported.

Originally posted by Endless MikeDo you mean is the jump from SSJ2 to SSJ3 proportionally greater than from SSJ1 to SSJ2? There's nothing to suggest that. In fact, considering that SSJ2 Vegeta did okay against Fat Buu (who SSJ3 Goku doubted he could beat, and then said he would just barely be able to beat him), and SSJ2 Vegeta managed to hold out for a while against Kid Buu (who was stronger than SSJ3 Goku), I'd say it might even be less.
Probably, there are a few quantifiable speed feats later on.
Generally we use the later sagas because pointing out slow speed earlier on would just be met by "He got way faster than that towards the end".
The Frieza saga is filled with just as many low speed situations, for example when the dragon was summoned Frieza could see it on the horizon, meaning he was no more than a few dozen kms away, yet Vegeta, Krillin, and Gohan had time to have an argument and conversation before he got there (and he was heading there at full speed, since he wanted to stop anyone else from making a wish).
In most situations his powers don't disappear completely under a red sun, they just get weaker and weaker until they're gone.
Ki is not magic. This has been confirmed in the manga by Kaioshin and Gohan. It is spiritual energy, but that doesn't count as magic in the DCU.

I didn't see anything that stipulated only the manga was being used for this thread, so if it happended in the anime it's canon. No logical backing? Maybe you need to develop some comprehension then, anime=anime, manga=manga is that still too difficult for you too understand? Show me where Toriyama said the anime isn't canon, the only place you'll hear garbage like that is from some random guy on the internet. lmao @ reporting, get a life, if you can't prove a point with some facts then I can see why you'd try to have someone shut up.
You know someone mentioned before that Vegetto would make a better match for comic supes...and I happen to agree. SSJ3 Vegeto would be a very interesting character in terms of power, but yeah it's just pure speculation at this point. Anyhow the more I think about it, Goku isn't the strongest character in DBZ. I intially defended him as being the most powerful, but after some review ive devised a new tier listing that i feel is more accurate.
Vegeto
Super Buu (w/Gohan,Gotenks,Pic), Buu (w/Gotenks,Pic)
Mystic Gohan, SSJ3 Gotenks, Evil Buu
Kid Buu, SSJ3 Goku
Fat Buu, SSJ2 Vegeta
Technically, Gohan is the most powerful non-fused char in DBZ. I wonder how poerful Gohan would become if he became a SSJ3.

Originally posted by TheBadguyShow me where he said it was canon. You can't prove a negative which goes back to the no logical backing. the burden of proof is on your shoulders, the stance claiming the positive.

Originally posted by TheBadguyNo, just for trolling like you are. You don't care about the fight yet you post to irritate those that do. That's trolling a reportable offense. How about you try to back one of your claims, like anime being canon to the manga?
lmao @ reporting, get a life, if you can't prove a point with some facts then I can see why you'd try to have someone shut up.
lol This guy is such a moron.

Either you're just dumb or you tried and failed to revise your argument without it being noticed.

Who in DBZ has taken a galaxy destroying attack? 😕
Even at the end of DBZ, characters are still afraid to take planet destroying attacks. Supes uses his body as a shield to stop planet destroying attacks with no hesitation.
Originally posted by The Great GalenI think he'd be weaker if he's stronger than ssj3 with his mystic power up. I mean didn't that old Kaioshin tell him to go super saiyan and instead he got the mystic power-up? I don't think he can even go super saiyan anymore.
