he says dragonball is the manga and the anime, I asked if that meant it was canon and said he wouldnt use a word like canon. I translated it you can ignore the parts yo udont like if you want, or you can grow up and accept the thing as a whole, he stated dragonball was both take it where you want from there

In case you didn't notice THAT is not what is in dispute. Is that that hard to grasp?

X-men is the comic and the movie.

Or are you going to deny that X-men is both the comics and the movies? Cause after all what would the X-men movie be called if not X-Men? What would the X-men comics be called if not X-men?

But that does not mean they are the same thing. So thus far you've failed to prove that they are the same like you claimed.

The anime is canon to the anime. The manga is canon to the manga. They are NOT canon to each other. and since this is a comic book forum the comic book(manga) is the canon that is canon.

You can repeat your translation ad nasuem. But that doesn't prove they are the same. Nor does it prove he said that they are the same.

Get it yet? Or do I need to repeat myself again.. perhaps I should use smaller words?

Other than that, I agree with your perspective. Unless I hear or read from Toriyama that the anime is cannon to the DB universe, or something VERY similar, I can only accept the manga as canon, and, as such, canon superman WINS this debate hands down.
