Martin Manhunter

Rand (from the Wheel of Time series)Etc. etc. etc. etc.
I don't know, if you take all fictional characters ever, there are probably more that are inferior to Jedi, seeing how many are just humans. But then you have things as God, does he just count as one and I mean he is vastly superior to any Jedi. Well, really, though, I was just replying with nonsense, as his point is subjective, and his silly absolute love of everything Star Wars even annoys me. He was also only talking about "badassery" an incredibly vague term to begin with.

Very true, I was thinking more on the lines of fictional super types, as the Jedi are; even then, it is heavily subjective.
"badassery" = kicks serious ass (I think)
I think fanboyism entails more. It is about being blind about anything negative on their subject...overrating endlessly...maybe even being delusional about the subject they choose, as in adding their own ideas, contrary to the creators or writers. At least in relation to how it is used on here, I believe.
So, you're saying that the Jedis are being excessively pumped up for the circumstances of this fight?
I'm really trying to get more involved with these threads, guys, but work has been really kicking my ass lately. Motherf*ckers are buying a lot of beer these days, and I have to vend the shit out of it.
