If Vader can force choke from long distances then it's safe to assume those as powerful or more powerful can too. So Yoda and Sidious sit in an impenetrable room watching the entire battle via view screen and force choking every wizard from complete safety. All the wizard die...Jedi/Sith win.

Force choke can be countered, you know, very easily.

Again, you only use the "seen on screen" angle to its strictest on one side, the side you want to loose. While your precious HP gets the relaxed version of, 'well, it's implied, so it can do anything I imagine.'
Oh, a couple Jedi in fighters would rape all the wizards. Anakin in a fighter would solo multiple broom-bound wizards.
