Superman had nothing to do with my voting against Punisher being moved up, I'm simply of opinion that there are many in his tier who are at or above his skill level, and overall he isn't in the tier that's being voted on him being. And since juken started putting words in my mouth, I wanted to point out the hypocrisy of using one character from an upper tier as not being superior to the one that's voted upon in his favor, when something completly the opposite, en-masse, is taking place in parallel.

Give them regular staves or swords and humanize them all, and they'd also destroy the living crap out of him. It wouldn't even be a contest.

The Superman thing is a red herring, people were complaining about tier inflation before he came up. Moving him up wouldn't have solved the problem, of 4th tier being gradually eroded as anyone with fighting skills was being transferred to third.

^ Doom killed a lion barehanded in one blow. Doom's a fencing master. Hercules would wrestle the crap out of Superman. Hercules was the best Avenger concerning vibrostaff workouts. Humanized Thor handled gun-wielding hoodlums and Zodiac henchmen far better than humanized Superman, such that he was keeping up with Cap (you see humanized Superman keeping up with Bats -- who doesn't even have a SSS-enhanced body -- in those same scenarios?). Teen Thor was also one of the best swordsmen in Asgard and has beaten Sif effortlessly. Loki kicked the crap out of the Disir (Bor's version of Valkyries) single-handedly. Ares barehanded punked a Grasscutter-wielding Phobos when he was brainwashed by Amatsu Mikaboshi, let alone training his four Shades (who were already proficiently trained by the likes of SAS, Spetznaz, etc.) to kick the crap out of just about anybody they came across.
