O_o

Not to pull a Quanchi, but based on what exactly? Punch for punch, I'd pick Superman over Thor, but Thor has some insane striking feats with his hammer.

That's not a knock on how powerful Thor is, because like I've said, in overall power, Superman and Thor are very comparable. But in terms of punching, and taking damage, there is a giant gap between the two. Thor has the energy absorption/projection/shielding edge, Superman has the physical strength and durability edge.

😂

Superman is nowhere close to matching a hammer strike from thor. It might be in a crossover, but superman failed and had to use thors hammer to bust through something i recall.

That will be Thor's hammer in Superman's hand. 😉

Can We use this as proof or not?

I understand Superman's history for amazing striking feats but "no where near" seems a little much.

You mean catching the mallet or busting the shield? I'm confused now

How many times have you heard that someone or something hits harder than superman? Quite a lot in a lot of comics. Now ask someone to count up the times someone or something that was stated to hit as hard as thors hammer strikes.

'Cuz Superman is the measuring stick? I guess?

Let me put it this way. Supermans fist is nothing compared to a strike from thor using his hammer.

Wrong.

Based on what example is "nothing"?

Wrong.

Let me put it this way

How many times you heard "He hits like Thor's hammer"

Answer: None, because that is not the measuring stick

You could heard "He hits like HULK" that means something

You can hear "He is faster than Flash" because that means something

You don't hear "He is fast like Captain America" because that does not mean too much.

Measuring stick 🙂

Measuring stick 🙂

Or it could be that they have been hit by superman and then felt a far stronger blow from someone else.

He's as gay as Superman.

And therefore the measuring stick is WHO? 😄

👇 fail

Superman can punch harder than Thor can. Not really debatable.

Arguing that Superman's punch completely blows Thor w/Mjolnir's striking power out of the water is a level of crazy I don't think the forum needs to subscribe to. Similarly arguing the opposite is garbage, too.
