Pretty sure he took cover and didn't pull some gunkata moves there. McClane's killed plenty of guys himself. Indy used his whip as a rope to pull himself under and around, that's not beyond McClane. McClane's been shot before; he even shot himself in the his previous shoulder wound to kill a guy. So not sure that truck chase scene is a good measure to say "Indy is so much uber than McClane!"

That's a different scene and he just closed his eyes. That's not beyond McClane either. Though since McClane doesn't have Indy's schooling in history, religion and archaeology, he'd not know that. IIRC, it wasn't God, it was God's angels. That isn't a test of h2h or toughness though. But yes, Indy >>> McClane in academics.

That has nothing to do with the truck scene, but Indy's not faster than McClane and he's also a base brawler like McClane. So that's just speculation. IIRC, Indy's been KO'd by at least once(I3). I'd haveto check though.

2) Stop beating on that strawman already, as I never said or implied McClane had a durability feat beyond Indy's fridge one. Though him(and Jack) tanking the plutonium explosion inside the Chernobyl plant is pretty impressive. (You didn't get to see this, as the focus was so laughably bad here in that version you watched)

3) You should really watch it again with a copy you can actually see what the hell is happening. For objectivity purposes.

😆 "Pretty impressive" LOL. Your overhyping and excuses are shameless. You don't need a high resolution to see that the blast isn't near the multi-kiloton mushroom cloud-causing one that flung Indy. McClane doesn't have feats beyond or equivalent to the Indy. McClane is just below him.

Indiana Jones flew thousands of feet during a nuclear blast and that shit tumbled. The G-forces involved are absurdly into the superhuman level. Any other "human" character would have been liquefied in the refrigerator.

Now some of you may be crying "foul" with my point, here. No, this is not foul. I accept that McClane fell down an elevator shaft and caught the ledge of an air duct. Any other human would have ripped the ligements out of his fingers from their forearm OR would have just lost their grip. A full grown man doing that is multiple times greater than peak-level human strength.

So, basically, I accept the absurd from both franchises and reject the notion that McClane has a chance. Indiana Jones has Hulk-Levels of durability.
