Ah, so you loved it, gotcha.
I need to hear a few more posters ask for my opinion and then I'll give it.

Hmmmmm, so you believe I'll sing this films praises. Stay tuned to find out.

Han Solo, Luke and Leia all die of syphilis while Chewie hooks up with bb8 and Jar Jar assumes leadership of the resistance. Anakin resurrects from the dead to join the cantina band and yoda is revealed to have been a puppet all along.

The movie is solid btw, I have problems with it but it's really enjoyable and a true sequel to Return of the Jedi

loved it. bb-8 cracked me up and kylo's tantrums were funny...though not sure how i feel about the whole dark side comedy angle. hopefully that will be just a first act thing.

Best SW since 1980

Yeah sort of... maybe up there with ROTJ. Not entirely sure yet, but better than the prequels.

I enjoyed the film, id say it was a solid B+. Loved the new characters, they felt very organic and even the older ones seemed naturally fit backing this universe. Hated that they dipped into the Death star well, AGAIN and they could have down without all the ANH and ESB story points the they lifted from the OT, also cliffhanger endings irritate me, it doesnt feel like a complete film when thats done and what a gyp that we see Luke for like 30 seconds. The good outweigh the bad here though and I'm excited to see where the story goes from here and anticipate a fight between a fully trained Kylo and Rey somewhere down the road. All intrigue by Snoke and what part he will have to play in all this.

The dialogue and passion of the new Actors places it far above the prequels and I'd even say a New Hope. Injecting new blood (Boyenga, Ridley, and Driver) was an excellent move, and they were even better actors than the younger versions of the cast of ANH. The worlds were vibrant, real, and the interactions between Han/Chewie and the Younger characters puts to shame the clunky dialogue of A New Hope, and Kylo's depth as a villain and struggle in the force is a change of pace in the films. I disliked the ending as I wanted to see more of Luke, and the fact Starkiller base was so brief an item was a flaw. But the film is very easily one of the best of the year, and a strong conclusion to 2015. I can't wait to see what they do next with this new saga

Same here.

Better than the entire prequel trilogy combined, but a little flawed in some places. Recycled plot lines and character elements, not to mention one big goddamn plot hole that leads to a VERY emotional scene that made me curse at the screen in anger.

Still an amazing movie that I will enjoy again.

8.5/10

Now that I've had even more time to reflect. IMO, TFA is average at best.

Something interesting I came across though. Apparently Daniel Craig had a cameo in the film, and he was the

Spoiler:
Storm Trooper that was guarding Rey/the one she uses the Mind Trick on!

That's why his voice sounded weird.

Also... So this is a spoilers thread now, is it, guys?

No spoilers, please. At least use tags.

I enjoyed it! So much fun! Rey is badass, and the bromance between Finn and Poe was great!

Very excited for the next installment

My own rating: I was going to say 7, but I think it's unfair. So I'm going to say a solid 8.

Hey can you go into specifics with the plot hole you're talking about?

There a more Stormtrooper cameo's: Tom Cruise, Benedict Cumberbatch... I hope one day they'll tell us which they are. And that is not a spoiler, is it? I think not.

So quan isn't gushing over Abrams atm...I find that surprising. Also its a plus that the movie doesn't have George Lucas handling the dialogue between characters.
