Now you're using CPT's tactics, of deciding what the GA thinks. Again, I'l tell you what I've been trying to explain to CPT. TPM also had an Amazing box office multiplier. ROTS has 7.7 and 79% on Rotten Tomatoes (10 years after release). Does that mean anyone who doesn't like TPM or ROTS should be told they're clearly in the minority?
I wasn't talking about the prequels, was I?
But as for your points, TPM was released on a Wednesday which leads to a deflated weekend and thus a higher multiplier. It also was released nearly 17 years ago and movies back then tended to be less front loaded (addmitedly it's still a very good multiplier). However, it has a poor IMDB score and RT audience rating.
RotS seems to have decent reception. It's IMDB score is good (not great) but it's audience rating in RT is pretty bad (65%).
Anyway, that's my last say on the matter.
