Damn, it's just like the thread where Operator chased away ODG.

Do much owning.

Why would his function diminish his power in any way?

What? Show me one single hint that Michael is superior to Lucifer. They are regarded as equals most of the times, and if anything, Lucifer has the edge. Mike Carey himself said that Lucifer is second only to God in a letter's page.

And the Sandman series outright mentions that Lucifer is the most powerful of all angels.

You're either purposely avoiding my point for the millionth time or you don't seem to know what you're talking about.

You realize that im not talking about what Lucifer created in #13 nor what Elaine created at the end of the series. Im talking about the original reality, the one before issue #13, and before all the events of the Lucifer series. The original vertigo multiverse that was created by Lucifer and Michael.

Really, what's so hard to understand here?

It diminishes his experiences since he was given this from day one he didn't have to earn anything.

Michael is more powerful and could have earned the entire host of angels with a gesture. Lucifer has never been that powerful. Lucifer possessed infinite will and Michael possessed infinite power. They were both given their roles from day one. Lucifer was the creators favorite due to his will and this disgusted Michael since he was the obedient one. Anything else you need cleared up ?

You're so ****ing pathetic it's not even funny.

Who gives a **** if he was born with those powers. Do we ***** that Kal, Thor, Diana or even ****ing Thanos himself was born with there powers? No, we ****ing don't!

The shits Lucifer did in the end wasn't because he just felt like doing them, but because he chose to free himself from the predestent destiny that was forced upon himself without his input. He felt that if humans had a choice to choose, why not him. That was Lucifers true motives.

He sure as hell didn't rebel, because he was to much of a pussy to court a chick. It was so bad that same chick even refused him.

Hell, didn't we learned that Thanos was created for the sole purpose of fixing a flaw in the damn Universe?

What's more funny is, the same shit you're blaming Lucifer off, can also applied to ****ing Thanos.

Don't just read something next time, understands it so you won't come off as an idiot.

Lucifer's function and his willpower were given to him without earning them. Thanos upgraded himself, acquired power sources on his own so that he had the willpower alone to master omnipotent power. This wasn't handed to him but he worked for it and earned it. Working for something makes it well earned.

Thanos was who was needed and in the end the supreme being needed him to fix a flaw he himself couldn't fix. Lucifer was created from day one from the supreme being with these attributes. He ain't no Thanos, son. Forgive the horrible grammar but it was indeed necessary here.

The same could be said about LT though, his power was given to him, not acquired. But he is multiversal just like Lucifer/Michael. Just a lot more fancy with bells and whistles. I don't know why zop and blue have a big deal with it.

Lt didn't earn anything either. I agree his powers were always given to him just like lucifer. Thanos earned his stripes.

I hear Ellaine Belloc is the Big Fish replacing the Presence.

Jesus I forgot the whole multiverse debate was still a thing.

Literally, if anyone actually reads Lucifer, you realise that creation, universe and multiverse are used interchangeably throughout. But yesm Lucifer literally states he made a multiverse as his creation, but more importantly the original Vertigo multiverse which he helped shape is definitely a multiverse, as per so much on panel proof in Sandman etc.

They are Universal.

People should really stop to overrated the DC / Vertigo abstracts...

They are vastly inferiors than the Marvel top tiers.

The whole series revolves around the fact that Lucifer seeks to become independent from God, and achieves it in the end. Yahweh even wanted to merge with Lucifer to share experiences.

I posted on panel proof which outright states that Lucifer is God's most powerful creation.

That should clear things up for you.

It's true, sometimes secondary references expand on the story: (like this off-topic example) (one of several)

"Akhenaten's sanctuary was a blending of realitIES"

------------------------------------

... and Ak was only tapping the HOTI. ... and Ak was an insect next to Thanos/merged.

------------------------------------

This argument in this thread, I get it.

In the actual portrayal of creation it was stated to be a "universe."
At the end, Elaine calls it a "universe."
But secondary references tell us it was more.

I've been through this so many times concerning THOTI.

*note: meh, it could be interpreted as Thanos only needing to remake 616 to fix the flaw,
but to think the power itself was "universal" or constricted to 616 is folly imo.

You can read an image.

Congratulations.

Try to read 24 images now and you should be able to read a comic book (maybe).
