Spielberg Talks 'A.I' & 'E.T.'

Fox411 spoke with Steven Spielberg where he revealed that work for the upcoming 'A.I.' movie are still to be completed even though he has begun filming 'Minority Report' with Tom Cruise. "We still have over 500 optical effects to put into AI," Spielberg said, "so in that sense it's not over, and we're doing Minority Report at the same time."

The article goes on to reveal that a special 20th anniversary version of 'E.T.' will be released in April 2002. Spielberg has reportedly spruced up the film with never-before-seen scenes and all the juice of a remastered film. More importantly, the release will be wide, as if it were a new.
