Leonardo DiCaprio On Almost-Fatal 'Aviator'

Leonardo DiCaprio says he had a near-death experience during a parachute jump for his role as Howard Hughes in The Aviator.He says he still shudders when he remembers when the parachute adventure went wrong. "I pulled the cord, I looked and the chute was twisting," he told Ananova.
DiCaprio says another jumper was able to cut the tangled cord and the two began plummeting towards the earth. But his fellow jumper eventually ensured he landed safely with him.
