Coppola's Next Major Movie
[Monday, June 4th, 2001]Francis Ford Coppola has announced his next project, which will be 'Megalopolis'. He recently premiered the directors version of 'Apocalpse Now' at Cannes Film Festival named 'Apocalypse Now Redux.'
The movie is said to center around one man's obsession to build the ultimate city.
Coppola has met with George Lucas to discuss the positives and negatives of digital filmmaking, as this is an option he is weighing for this film.
Filming should begin early next year in New York City.
