Eddie Murphy Returning For 'Beverly Hills Cop 4'

Eddie Murphy is set to reprise his role as Axel Foley in Paramount Pictures classic action-comedy franchise Beverly Hills Cop 4, says Variety.The last Beverly Hills copy movie, release in 1987, followed Axle Foley while he was investigating a car theft ring. He comes across something much bigger than that: the same men who shot his boss are running a counterfeit money ring out of a theme park in Los Angeles.
"Axel Foley is one of the great action-comedy characters, a character that Eddie loves. I'm lucky enough to help bring it back," said producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura. "This genre is missing from the landscape."
