Nicole Kidman Talks Getting 'Bewitched'

Nicole KidmanNicole Kidman, who stars along side Will Ferrell in the movie Bewitched, says she's excited about making the feature. "Everybody is obsessed with Bewitched," Kidman told Sci-Fi Wire. "I get asked so many questions about it. I'm glad. It's fun. It's a lot of fun. Will Ferrell is just a sweetheart."

The movie, based on the on the 1960s television series, sees Kidman play witch Samantha Stephens, with Will Ferrell playing the role of Darrin Stephens.

Kidman says she feels like she's stepping into a bit of American cultural history by making the film. "In a weird way, yeah," Kidman said. "It's got a life that's far more than I knew about. They have little Bewitched dolls. Really, it's huge. I loved the show. I grew up watching the show; that's why I wanted to do it. [It was on in Australia at] 6 o'clock every weeknight for many, many years. I've seen almost every episode." Bewitched is scheduled for a July 8th release.
