DreamWorks Takes On 'Blades Of Glory'
[Tuesday, February 1st, 2005]DreamWorks has preemptively bought the comedy spec Blades of Glory, says Variety.
The story, written by first-time scribes Craig and Jeff Cox, is a high-concept comedy set in the world of professional ice skating.
It follows two former rivals who, stripped of their gold medals from the 2002 Winter Games and permanently banned from the men's singles Olympics figure skating competishcompetish, exploit a loophole in their suspensions and join forces to compete in the pairs category.
