'The Ring' Scribe Hired For 'Blood And Chocolate'
[Tuesday, January 20th, 2004]The Ring scribe Ehren Kruger has been hired by MGM for director Sanji Senaka's Blood and Chocolate. According to Variety, the deal to pen the script reaches into seven figures.
The project adapts Annette Curtis Klause's popular teen horror novel, which portrays a secret society of werewolves living in modern society. Original story, which will be reworked by Kruger, follows the difficult romance between a young woman werewolf and a human boy.
The studio is hoping for a summer start for the project.
