DreamWorks Takes On Japanese 'Casshern'
[Wednesday, October 27th, 2004]DreamWorks Pictures has taken the US rights to the Japanese feature Casshern, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The movie, helmed by Kazuaki Kiriya, is based on a 1970s animation series. The live-action feature follows a young man reborn as a bioengineered being who becomes involved in a bitter struggle between humankind and androids.
