John Whitesell In Talks To Direct 'Cats & Dogs 2'

John Whitesell is in talks to direct Warner Bros. Pictures' live-action/CGI feature Cats & Dogs 2: Tinkles' Revenge, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The sequel, based on the original 2001 film, will see the continuing wars between canines and felines. The script was written by the film's original writers, John Requa and Glenn Ficarra.

'Cats & Dogs 2' is expected to be in theaters by summer 2005.
