Palm Pictures Take Cordero's 'Cronicas'
[Wednesday, September 1st, 2004]Palm Pictures have bought the rights to Ecuadorian-born writer-helmer Sebastian Cordero's Spanish-language crime thriller 'Cronicas', according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The film, which screened at this year's Festival de Cannes' Un Certain Regard section, follows a Miami reporter (John Leguizamo) who travels to a small Ecuadorian village to cover a series of brutal murders and get the biggest story of his career, tracking a possible serial killer dubbed the Monster of Babahoyo.
