Sharon Stone Set To Star In Two Indie Movies

Sharon Stone is ready to return to the big screen with not one but two independent feature films, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

The actress is in negotiations to star with Rupert Everett in "A Different Loyalty" for director Marek Kanievska ("Less Than Zero") and "The Liar's Club" for helmer Nadia Tass (TV's "Child Star: The Shirley Temple Story").

The first project likely to go into production is "Loyalty," which is aiming for a fall start in Europe.

"Loyalty," written by Jim Piddock, tells the true story of Eleanor Philby (Stone), whose husband, superspy Kim Philby (Everett), infiltrated British intelligence for the Russians before defecting in 1963. The project will center on the love story between the two.

"Liar's Club," which has no start date yet, was written by Robert Schenkkan ("The Quiet American") and tells the story of a dysfunctional Texas family that splits up, gets back together, splits again and reunites again.
