Johnny Knoxville In 'Daltry Calhoun' Talks
[Thursday, September 16th, 2004]Johnny Knoxville is in talks to take the lead role in Miramax Films Daltry Calhoun, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The project is described as a dark comedy about a father (Knoxville) struggling to keep his once lucrative Tennessee golfing empire intact when his estranged 14-year-old daughter -- a gifted musician -- is unexpectedly left in his care.
Other stars signed up include Juliette Lewis, Elizabeth Banks, David Koechner and Kick Gurry. The project is gearing up for a September 25th start.
