Dave Chappelle In Comedy 'Family History' Talks
[Monday, May 3rd, 2004]Dave Chappelle, star of TV's 'Chappelle's Show' on Comedy Central, is in talks with New Line Cinema to make the comedy Dave Chappelle's Family History of the World, says the Hollywood Reporter.
The project would see Chappelle play his family members at various points in history as he chronicles his family's fictitious involvement in momentous events, from biblical times to the present day, while also riffing on the black experience. Chappelle is also expected to write the script.
