Miramax Take On Auerbach's 'Dear Frankie'
[Friday, November 21st, 2003]Miramax Films has bought the rights to Shona Auerbach's directorial debut Dear Frankie, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
'Frankie' follows a deaf boy and his mother as they struggle to hide the fact that they've run away from the boy's father.
The project, which stars Emily Mortimer, Gerard Butler and Jack McElhone, is currently in postproduction and scheduled for completion in January.
