Tom Hanks To Crack Dan Brown's 'The Da Vinci Code'
[Monday, November 15th, 2004]Tom Hanks is in talks to join the film adaptation of Dan Brown's novel, The Da Vinci Code, for director Ron Howard and producer Brian Grazer, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Hanks is expected to step into the scholarly shoes of Robert Langdon, the professor who unravels the mystery of the Holy Grail. Brown's novel, which combines intellectual puzzles with a nonstop chase.
The Da Vinci Code is expected to to begin shooting next year.
