Arturo Ripstein Takes On 'El Carnaval De Sodoma'

Mexican helmer Arturo Ripstein is set to direct El carnaval de Sodoma, says Variety.

The feature is an ensemble piece set entirely in a bordello, delving into the lives and frustrations of a group selecting outfits for a carnival.

The project stars include Patricia Reyes Spindola, Alejandro Camacho and Fernando Lujan. Shooting is expected to begin August 22nd.
