Cate Blanchett Set For 'Elizabeth' Reprisal

Cate Blanchett is said to have agreed to reprise her role as Elizabeth I in a follow-up to the 1998 film Elizabeth, according to the BBC.Oscar nominated Blanchett will play the Virgin Queen in The Golden Age.
The Golden Age will pick up events 15 years on from the original, taking in the queen's relationship with Mary Queen of Scots, played by Samantha Morton. Filming is scheduled to start next month.
