Coolidge To Direct 'Employee Of The Month'

Greg Coolidge is to rewrite and make his feature directing debut on the comedy Employee of the Month, according to Variety.

Movie is about a duel between two slackers who become model Costco workers when they hear a new hottie may date the store's employee of the month.

After breaking into Hollywood as an actor -- he starred in the Sundance pic "Possum's Switch" and played Paul Hogan's nephew in a series of Subaru ads -- Coolidge began writing scripts with partner Joe Jarvis. They made several sales and got one pic made -- "Sorority Boys."

Coolidge, who wanted to be a director, wrote and directed Queen for a Day, a short about a gym instructor who pretends to be gay so he can drape himself all over the beauties at the club.
