Lauren Graham Joins 'Evan Almighty'
[Thursday, March 16th, 2006]Lauren Graham is set to star opposite Steve Carell in Universal Pictures' comedy Evan Almighty, says the Hollywood Reporter.
The feature, helmed by Tom Shadyac, is the sequel to 2003's 'Bruce Almighty'.
The story follows Carell, who appeared as an anchorman in the first film, who now has a career as a politician. He gets an audience with God, played by a returning Morgan Freeman, who tells him to build an ark in preparation for a flood.
Graham is playing Evan's wife, with John Goodman coming aboard to play a congressman who takes Evan under his wing.
