Director Lajos Koltai To Helm 'Evening'
[Wednesday, February 15th, 2006]Director Lajos Koltai is in final talks to helm the screen adaptation of Susan Minot's best-selling novel Evening, says the Hollywood Reporter.
The feature follows the story of a woman, reflecting back on one weekend in her youth when she met the love of her life, as her two daughters try to come to terms with the mother's impending death while struggling with their own personal issues.
The story was adapted by Minot and Pulitzer Prize-winning author Michael Cunningham.
