Redgrave, Danes And Collette Have An 'Evening'

Vanessa Redgrave, Claire Danes and Toni Collette are in talks to star in Evening, according to the Hollywood Reporter.Focus Features' screen adaptation of Susan Minot's best-selling novel of the same name. Directed by Oscar nominee Lajos Koltai, the movie centers on 65-year-old cancer patient Ann Grant Lord, who reflects on a weekend in her youth when she met the love of her life, as her two daughters try to come to terms with her impending death while struggling with their own issues.
Redgrave is set to star as Lord, with Danes and Collette respectively co-starring as daughters Ann and Nina. Minot and Pulitzer Prize-winning author Michael Cunningham ("The Hours") adapted the story for the screen.
