Yam Laranas To Direct 'The Echo' Remake
[Wednesday, November 8th, 2006]Yam Laranas is to direct Vertigo Entertainment's remake thriller The Echo, says the Hollywood Reporter.
The feature, which is a remake of Filipino title 'Sigaw', follows a story that involves an ex-con who becomes trapped in a cursed apartment when he tries to intervene in an abusive situation with the neighbors.
Laranas was also the director of the original movie. Shooting is slated to begin in March in Gotham.
