Billy Bob Thornton To Make 'Floyd Collins'

Billy Bob Thornton is set to star in and direct Paramount Pictures period drama Floyd Collins, says the Hollywood Reporter.The feature is set in 1925, the drama centers on the true-life story of cave explorer Floyd Collins' entrapment in a Kentucky cavern and the ensuing 13-day news frenzy.
Geyer Kosinski, Thornton's manager, will be producing the project.
